Easy Tab · Beverage packaging innovation

## A better experience. Starting at the opening.

Easy Tab is ICM’s flagship beverage can innovation, developed to improve finger access and make the everyday act of opening a can more comfortable.

### Everyday products. Meaningful room to improve.

A beverage can is familiar. That familiarity can make the small challenges of using it easy to overlook. Easy Tab begins with attention to one of those moments: getting a finger beneath the tab and opening the can.

ICM’s work on Easy Tab connects the user experience with product geometry, manufacturing considerations, intellectual property development, and commercial relationships.

It is a focused example of our broader model: develop a proprietary innovation and build the system of expertise around it.

Easy Tab.

Better access. Thoughtful development. A practical purpose.

Connected development

### Four considerations. One coordinated effort.

01

#### The opening experience

Finger access, comfort, and the interaction between a person and the beverage can are central to the development brief.

02

#### Manufacturing fit

Tab design has to be considered alongside forming methods, production equipment, and the practical demands of beverage packaging.

03

#### Intellectual property

The work brings product design and manufacturing methods into a coordinated IP strategy developed with specialist counsel.

04

#### Commercial relevance

Consumer experience, partner requirements, and a practical route to adoption inform the opportunity for licensing and commercialization.
